JAMMU, Dec 24: A galaxy of intellectuals from J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Punjab attended the 9th National Eduleaders Summit & Awards function organised by ‘Centre for Educational Development’ (CED) at Radisson Blue, here.
This gala event was the first of its kind based on the phenomenal theme of ‘Child Centered Happiness Curriculum’; an earnest endeavour and initiative of CED to empower and equip the school leaders & teaching fraternity with latest educational concepts like happiness curriculum,’ Artificial Intelligence ‘ and ‘Impact of Physical Education on students’ happiness and academic excellence.
The inaugural function commenced with the lighting of the lamp performed by the chief guest Choudhary Lal Singh, former Minister, Dr Priyadarshani Nayak (Chairman, CED Foundation), Shankar Goenka (Renowned Motivational Speaker) and the entire Jammu core team of Principals and Managers comprising of Dr Kunal Anand (Convenor, Chief national coordinator CED & Principal DPS Udhampur), Vivek Gupta (MD, DPS Udhampur), Rohini Aima (Vice Chairman cum Principal, Jammu Sanskriti School), Dr Vikesh Kaur (Principal, Doon International School, Jammu), Sucheta Gupta (Director Academics DPS Udhampur), KCS Mehta (Principal, APS Akhnoor), Suminder Singh (MD, IDPS Jammu) and Suchita Gupta (Principal IDPS Kathua).
It was followed by the extravagant cultural presentation by the students of Doon International School and Jammu Sanskriti School.
Dr Priyadarshi Nayak (Chairman & founder CED foundation) appraised the audience about the mission & vision of CED.
Dr Kunal Anand, Principal DPS Udhampur was the Keynote speaker and Nirmal Mahana (President Jammu Sahadoya) presented the formal welcome address.
The highlight of the event was on one side the incredibly enlightening session on ‘Happiness’ by Dr Shankar Goenka (Managing Director Vow factor India Pvt. ) and New Age curriculum by Poonam Kotwal (Director Extamarks Education) on the other side; the National Awards being conferred upon the deserving leaders and the teachers of various schools.
Out of almost 120 delegates attending the conference, a very few were felicitated appreciating their remarkable and incredible contribution as innovative and progressive torch bearers in the field of education.
The award function was presided over by Chander Mohan Sharma, Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation and the guest of honour Dr JC Gupta (PVC DPS Udhampur) followed by breathtaking closing cultural presentation by the students of Delhi Public School Udhampur.
The Chairman of CED, Dr Priyadarshani Nayak extended his heartfelt gratification to the entire ‘Jammu Core Team’ and all the leaders and teaching fraternity of J&K for the incredible success of the event.
