Jammu, Sept 28: J&K Grameen Bank in coordination with Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) successfully conducted online examination for the posts of Officers in different cadres and Office Assistants in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), wherein nearly 9000 applicants appeared.
The tests were conducted online in 16 sessions that spread over eight days. Online examination for the post of Officer/s was held on September 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2015 and for the post of Office Assistants examination was held on September 13,19, 20, 26 and 27 at 15 Centres identified by IBPS at Jammu, Kathua, Samba and Baramulla.
The online examinations were held directly by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai with technical expertise being facilitated by the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
R K Chhibber, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank said, “I thank IBPS, TCS, all the institutions and staff of bank for their complete support and cooperation throughout the examination.” He further added that J&K Grameen Bank feels proud to be nominated as Nodal Bank for conducting recruitments in RRBs in J&K.
