JAMMU, May 29: 9-member karate team of All J&K Shito Ryu Seifukan Association left today to participate in All India Karate Championship to be held at Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh from May 29 to June 2, 2013.
The team: Naresh Kumar, Abhijeet Singh, Revti Nandan, Mohit Singh, Akshun Slathia, Ashish Jamwal, Vansh Partap Singh, Manik Dhar and Gunjot Singh.
Vikas Dhar is accompanying the team as coach and Naresh Kumar as manager.
Earlier, the team was selected by a panel of experts including chief coach Amit Singh, president of the Association, vice president Rajesh Sharma and general secretary Surinder Gupta.
MLA Sukhnandan Choudhary was also present on the occasion.
