JAMMU, June 10: 5th Junior National Drop Roball Championship organized by Jammu and Kashmir Drop Roball Association commenced today at Vidya Peeth Higher Secondary School and Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi.
The tournament was declared open by Chander Shekhar Sharma, senior PDP leader Jammu East, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in presence of Rajeev Kumar, district general secretary, PDP, Rajinder, senior leader PDP, Amit Gupta and Brijbhushan Sharma.
18 teams across the country are participating in the tournament.
While speaking, Chander Shekhar Sharma impressed upon the participants to play the game with true sportsmanship. He also highlighted the importance of sports in day to day life.
