BANDIPORA, May 29: The 4th match of Kashmir Invitation Football Cup (KIFC), 2014 is scheduled to be played between JK Bank Football Club and State Bank of Tamil Nadu Football Club at S.K. Sports Stadium Bandipora on June 5, 2014.
For this purpose, arrangements were finalized during an officers meeting with Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Shah Faisal here today.
It was given out that the tournament has been organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council. The inaugural match of the tournament will be played at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar on June 1, 2014.
The arrangements which were discussed during the meeting include, security, traffic regulation, parking, seating arrangements, sanitation, drinking water, power supply, media coverage, Public Address System, medical facility etc.
The Deputy Commissioner on the occasion, enjoined upon the officers to ensure better arrangements for this first ever event in the district so that the guests and sports lovers do not face any inconvenience while witnessing the game.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, N.A. Baba besides concerned officers and Manager Sports Council, representatives of Football Association were also present in the meeting.
