JAMMU, Sept 2: Jodhamal Public School conducted 4th Edition of Jodhamal Youth Conclave (JYC-21) with a motto ‘Atta Dipa Viharatha’ wherein 400 delegates from Pan India and overseas participated.
The 400 delegates from the 25 different leading Schools including Mayo College, La Martiniere, Welham Boys, Welham Girls, Jayshree Periwaal, YPS, Seth MR Jaipuria, DPS Gurgaon, DSB International Public School, Dillibong High International, The SD Vidya School, DPS Greater Noida, National Centre for Excellence and Saint John Public School were part of the event.
The opening ceremony was graced by Prof Amitabh Matoo who emphasised the importance of such competitions for students. The secretary general, E-JYC -2021 declared the conference open with an inaugural speech.
There were 63 awards including14 best delegations and outstanding delegations, eight honourable mentions and 41 special mentions and verbal mentions awards. Delegates from different Schools were awarded for the same and the ‘Best Delegation Award’ was bagged by La Martiniere and Welham Boys. On this occasion, the issues of JYC newsletter ‘Unbelievable’ were also released.
The closing ceremony was attended by Rohini Aima, Principal Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu, Monika Sethi, Principal Al Noor International School, Bahrain and Pooja Panthri head of the DCM Senior Secondary School, Ferozepur.
The vote of thanks was presented by Dhruv Gandhi, the director general JYC-21, whereas the conference was officially declared closed by secretary general Mian Mohammad Raza.
The JYC-21 was a student oriented program for the students and by the students where the management had lent a free hand to the students.
