UDHAMPUR, Nov 25: Four day open 8th District Badminton championship organised by District Badminton Association Udhampur concluded here at Mini Stadium.
Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib was the chief guest, while District Information Officer Rajinder Kumar Digra was the special guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that holding such tournaments was a step forward to give a platform to the budding players of the District.
The DC also interacted with the participants.
Earlier, President District Badminton Association, Suresh Khajuria welcomed the chief guest and presented the report on the championship.
Later, the chief guest gave away prizes and certificates among the winners as well as participants.
Manager Sports Stadium, Naveen Sharma; District President Volleyball Association, Raj Guru; President District Kho-Kho Association, Advocate Sanjeet Bavouria; District President, Kabaddi Association, Tanveer Sheikh and other members of different Associations besides players were present on the occasion.
