JAMMU, Mar 6: Third UT level Karate Championship-2022 sub junior, cadet, junior and senior categories, organised by Amateur Karate Do Association of J&K, concluded successfully at Mahajan Hall, here today.
About 400 participants from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the tournament.
JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta was the chief guest of the closing ceremony, while Romesh Gupta was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The Mayor appreciated the efforts being done by the Association to promote Karate in every corner of the UT and encouraged the players, especially girls to keep doing better in the field of Karate. He also distributed medals among the winners in their respective categories and also appreciated the efforts being done by Ambedkar Gupta and his team to promote Karate.
Sanjay Kumar Tuttoo, Rinku Sharma, Anil Sharma, Deepika Chouhan, Deepa Sharma, Tushal Jandial, Rajan Jamwal, Pooja Sharma, Neeraj Manhas, Gourav Raina, Adil Mahmood, Gurmam Kour, Susheel Pandita, Amir Rasool, Akshay Singh, Aamir Akbar, Tabasum Nusrat Ali, Vipul Sharma, Rayees Ahmad, and Zafar Gulzar were part of the organising committee in form of different commissions along with Association’s office bearers.
