3rd SDSD U-10 Kho Kho Championship organised

SAMBA, Sept 14: The third Sports Development Society Dhalote Under-10 Kho Kho Championship was organised by Sports Development Society Dhalote, Samba at Nav Vidya Higher Secondary School Dhalote.
About 14 teams of different schools and sports clubs participated. On the occasion, Subash Bhagat, BJP leader and social worker was the chief guest who appreciated the society’s efforts in promotions of games in Samba district.
The chief guest distributed medals and trophies among the winner in presence of other dignitaries which include Krishna Singh, secretary, Vinod Sharma, treasurer, Narinder Singh and joint secretary, Kabal Singh.
In the boys category league match Modern Institute Sumb beat Amli Sports Club by four points, while in semifinal match, Modern Institute Sumb surpassed B V M Banlarh. In the final match Vidya Dhalote overpowered Modern Institute, Sumb to clinch the final title.
In the girls category league match Nav Vidya Dhalote outplayed Patyari Club by 14 points, while in semifinal Nav Vidya Dhalote defeated Institute of Education by four points. In the final match Nav Vidya Dhalote drubbed Mordern Institute Sumb by solitary point.
