JAMMU, May 6: 3rd open District Jammu Kick Boxing Championship, organized by Kick Boxing Association Jammu and Kashmir concluded at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
Around 300 players from different schools and clubs took part in the championship.
On the valedictory function, GN Tantray, Chairman, Doon International School was the chief guest, who awarded medals to the winners in presence of Satish, Manager, Indoor Hall, Kuldeep Handoo, India Coach, Vivek Bassan, NIC Coach, Abhishek Jain, State General Secretary, Varun Magotra, Vice president and Gourav Chopra, District General Secretary.
The competition was organized by Danish Padha and Sunil Dev Singh.
In under-7 boys category (below 22 kg), Rajat, Dev Karan, Rahil Dogra and Smarth Mahajan emerged winners, whereas in below 26 kg, Idhant,Tribhuvan, Gurveer Singh and Rishi Kartik emerged winners and in below 18 kg, Aryan, Vinet, Anshu and Agrim emerged winners.
In 9-12 years Sub Junior (boys), Vedhant, Risham, Rehan and Krishna emerged winners, in below 36 kg, Aryan Sharma, Sarthik Sharma, Sulakshya and Paras Sharma emerged winners, in below 40 kg, Aman, Krishna Sharma, Bavin Sharma and Mohammad Sahil emerged winners, in above 40 kg, Vasu, Aarish Mahajan, Sohail and Ayan emerged winners, in above 45 kg, Akash Charak, Mohammad Noman, Rehman Choudhary and Vidant Gupta emerged winners, in above 50 kg, Tehmour, Hardik Chopra, Faizan and Zehan emerged winners, in above 55 kg, Aman Bargotra, Parmatam Singh, Parth Gupta and Walli emerged winners.
In below 22 kg under-7 (girls), Ridhi, Mehak and Tanvi emerged winners.
In below 30 kg 9-12 years girls, Garima, Mishti Aggarwal and Reedhika Dutta emerged winners, whereas in below 32 kg, Akshita, Meetakshi and Mahi Gupta emerged winners, in below 36 kg, Armandeep, Sonalika and Aadhya emerged winners, in below 48 kg, Ronak Sharma emerged winner, in below 52 kg, Bawandeep Kour emerged winner, in below 45 kg, Sahana, Neha and Mominah emerged winners, in under 55 kg, Aqsav Malik and Tehzeed emerged winners and in above 60 kg Shreya emerged winner.
In open girls category, Heema Sadiq emerged winner.
In junior girls (below 40), Shruti, and Aarika emerged winner, whereas in below 60 kg, Bawandeep, Amodhini Gupta and Avni Jain emerged winners and in below 70 kg, Ambika Gandotra and Neha Bhagat emerged winners.
In 7 years open boys, Gurpreet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Lovekesh and Natik Verma emerged winners.
In 9-12 years boys (below 32 kg), Gagandeep, Tanish, Agastya manhas and Gurshaib Singh emerged winners, in under-36 kg, Raghav Kalsotra, Junaid Choudhary, Aman Saini and Parkash Tuli emerged winners, in below 40 kg, Mohammad Arif, Priyanshu Raina, Anmol and Dhruv Choudhary emerged winners, in below 45 kg, Smarth Bhatia, Vishesh, Hitesh Charosia and Vansh Malhotra emerged winners, in under 51 kg, Akshat Gupta, Sehaj Kumar, Ayushman and Veer Angral emerged winners, in below 60 kg, Chanakya, Irfan, Vaibhav and Rakshit emerged winners, in below 65 kg, Mridul Malhotra, Junaid, Mitish and Mohammad Saad emerged winners and in open category, Abhinandan Sharma, Vasu Sharma, Farhan Arif Mir and Himansh emerged winners.
In senior boys under 45 kg, Bhupinder, Rakshit Khajuria, Hardik and Dhruv Bandral emerged winners, whereas in below 65 kg, Akhil Sharma, Ankush Thakur, Avnoot Singh and Deepal Kumar emerged winners, in under 73 kg, Manjeet Singh and Brigu Gupta emerged winners and in above 90 kg, Raghav Sharma and Ganesh Sharma emerged winners.
In special child category, Mehboob Ali Khan emerged winner.
