JAMMU, Nov 13: The 27th Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship concluded today at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
On the valedictory function, Vishal Sharma, Assistant Solicitor General of India in J&K High Court Jammu Wing was the chief guest, who awarded the winners of different events organized during 27th Jammu and Kashmir Senior Snooker and Billiards Championship along with Satish Gupta Manager MA Stadium, Ravi Singh Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, J&K Sports Council and Naveen Sharma, Office bearer J&K Sports Council.
The event was also graced by Siddharth Sharma Chairman of the Association, Sanjeev Gupta President, Vishal Abrol General Secretary, Sohail Khalid Treasurer, Nikhil Kapahi Vice President, Jaideep Manocha Senior Vice President, Ishuk Choudhary Organising Secretary and members of JKBSA Ishan Choudhary, Sunil Jain and Gurjeev Singh.
In Sub Junior Billiards, Vansh Gupta and Hardik Gupta emerged winner and runner-up respectively, whereas in Sub Junior Snooker, Aryan Tak and Sumit Talwar bagged winner and runner-up positions respectively.
In Junior Billiards, Ansh Chopra and Ananya Mahajan secured winner and runner up positions respectively, whereas in Junior Snooker, Ansh Chopra and Aman Sharma bagged winner and runner-up positions respectively.
In Senior Billiards, Sohail Khalid emerged winner and Vidit Gawri secured runner up position, whereas in Senior Snooker Abhishek Pathania and Vidit Gawri claimed winner and runner-up positions respectively.
In Six Red Balls, Vipin Malhi and Sunny Rajput bagged winner and runner-up positions respectively.
Hardik Gupta was declared as ‘Youngest Player’ of the Championship.
Rakesh Sharma and Ravees Ahmed acted as Markers during the Championship.
The Championship was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association under the aegis of J&K Sports Council.
