2-days Robotics Workshop-cum-Championship held at MVIS

JAMMU, Sept 2: Two days Inter School Robotics Workshop cum Championship ended with a high note today at MV International School.
The workshop is held every year in collaboration with Robosapiens technologies New Delhi to provide a technical platform for the schools of Jammu division.
The selected teams will participate for Grand Finale at IIT- Delhi.
Fazal Mahfooz and Anshuman were the resource persons, who introduced the fundamentals & practical concept of basic electronics, mechanics, robotics and its various applications on the first day of the Workshop.
In the second day today, the students got hands on experience of designing wireless robots which was followed by competition of making the robots to run on zigzag tracks. The winners of this round went through a viva discussion to select the champions of the event.
1st position was bagged by team of Banyan International School, 2nd position by                      MV International School, 3rd positions was shared by Banyan International School & MV International School. These 4 teams will represent J&K in the Grand Finale at IIT-Delhi. Principal and Director of MVIS lauded the efforts of the participants and thanked the resource team for their efforts. Chairman, Hira Lal Abrol expressed his satisfaction over the conduct of the event and wished the winners a bright future ahead.
