RAMBAN, Oct 5: 2-day Athletic Meet, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports concluded at Government Higher Secondary School Ground, here today.
Vinod Sohni, Chief Education Officer (CEO), Ramban was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed the prizes among the athletes on the occasion.
Over 350 athletes in the age groups of Under-14, 17 and 19 years participated in the Meet to vie for the top honours.
In girls section Ramban zone clinched the overall trophy, while in the boys category, Batote zone claimed the title trophy.
The athletes of all age groups took part in the events of races, jumps and throws and showed motor-ability, agility and anticipation.
The Meet was held under the overall supervision of Thakur Dewan Chand, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Ramban, while Zonal Physical Education Officer, Ramban, Harshikesh Koul was present on the occasion.
