1st J&K State Petanque C’ship held

JAMMU, Mar 23: Organized by J&K Petanque Association and hosted by KC Gurukul Paloura, 1st J&K State Petanque Championship concluded here today.
Arvind Mahajan, chairman KC Gurukul School was the chief guest on the occasion, while vice president J&K Petanque Association, Bodh Raj Dogra and Principal KC Gurukul School were the guests of honour.
The participating Schools included KC International School, BSF Paloura, Vidyapeth Public School, KC Gurukul Public School, Shangrilla Public School, Amba Kids Home Panthal and Vidya Bharti Public School Udhampur.
In Under-15 boys, District Reasi bagged first place, while in Under-15 girls, KC International School emerged winner.
KC Gurukul bagged first place in Under-19 boys, while in Under-19 girls, KC Gurukul again emerged winner. District Jammu emerged winner in Senior boys category.
