SRINAGAR, June 30: The final cricket match was played between Team Green Kashmir and Team Yellow Kashmir.
Mohammad Ashraf Captain Yellow Kashmir won the toss and elected to bat. The team scored 128 runs, while Team Green, in reply bundled out for 95 runs, thus Team Yellow won by 33 runs.
In the valedictory function various social workers and other dignitaries were present.
The function was presided over by the chairman DP Dhar Memorial Trust, Vijay Dhar. The guests of honour included Dr Sajad Kangoo, Station House Officer Pantha Chowk and Director Rahim Green Srinagar.
Javed Ahmad Tak Founder Humanity Welfare Organisation Helpline and President All JK Handicapped Association Abdul Rasheed Bhat were the special guests on the occasion.
All participants received the medals and certificates. The trophies were distributed among winners and runners-up teams by the dignitaries on the occasion.
In addition special watches were distributed among the players with blindness by the chief guest.
Mementos were presented to the officiating panel also.
