16-member J&K team leaves for Vijay Hazare Trophy

JAMMU, Feb 11: The 16-member J&K team sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) today left for Bilaspur, HP to take part in the Vijay Hazare one-day Cricket Tournament to be held under the auspices of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at various venues in Himachal Pradesh.
Three members of J&K Under-19 team including Shubam Khajuria, Paras Sharma and Ahmed Umar Banday have made it to the 16-member squad.
The team will be led by Ian Dev Singh and is being accompanied by Kanya Lal, Abdul Qayoom, Virender Sharma, Desh Rattan Dubey and Amir Malik as officials.
The team comprises of nine batsmen along with wicketkeeper, three medium pace bowlers, two spinners and two all-rounders.
The team: Ian Dev Singh (Captain), Parvez Rasool, Ramdayal Punia, Obaid Haroon (WK), Owais Ahmed, Shubam Khajuria, Paras Sharma, Ahmed Umar Banday, Aditya Pratap Singh, Majid Dar, Manik Gupta, Zahoor Sofi, Waseem Raza, Arshid Sheikh, Sohail Andleep and Hardeep Singh.
