Srinagar, Oct 22: The Directorate of Youth Services & Sports (YSS) has been appointed as the nodal agency for registering participants from J&K for the prestigious National Youth Festival (NYF) – Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026.
The festival will feature competitive tracks in Cultural and Innovation, including events such as painting, folk song, story writing, folk dance, poetry writing, innovation, and declamation.
The initiative aims to identify, celebrate, and empower young talent, providing a national platform to showcase their skills.
The selection process in J&K will follow a two-tiered system, starting with district-level competitions, followed by a Union Territory-level selection round, both conducted by the Directorate of YSS J&K.
To ensure widespread participation across all 20 districts, DG YSS J&K Anuradha Gupta chaired a comprehensive virtual meeting with all District Youth Services & Sports Officers (DYSSOs) from her office in Jammu.
