Young Rovers thrashes Vijay Club in football

JAMMU, Oct 28: Young Rovers defeated Vijay Club by five goals to one (5-1) in the Senior Division Football League Tournament, being played at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
Young Rovers dominated the game from  the word go and scored the first goal through Abhimanyu in 16th minute, while the second goal was netted by Vishal in 27th minute. The third goal was scored by Avinash in 42nd minute and Rahul Sahrma pelted the 4th goal in the 57th minute. Rahul pelted the 5th goal in 68th minute. For Vijay Club, Tanpreet Singh scored the only goal in 75th minute of the match through penalty stroke.
The match was organized by Rakesh Kumar, Suresh Gupta, Eliza Sotra and Amardeep Singh.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Sainik Colony will take on Param FC at the same venue at 3 pm.
