JAMMU, Nov 21: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) organized an exciting Outdoor Sports Competition under the Golden Gladiator Sports Club, showcasing the talent, discipline and competitive spirit of its students.
The event commenced with an inspiring inauguration by Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics, and B. R. Verma, chief coordinator, who encouraged students to balance sports with academics, highlighting its role in building confidence, leadership, and discipline.
In Men’s Badminton, Rakshit Shan (CSE) defeated Varun (Civil) by 10–9 to claim the trophy, while in Women’s Badminton, Bhoomi Salaria overcame Rishika Chowdhary by 10–2. The Volleyball final saw Team CSE triumph over Team Electrical in a high-intensity showdown.
YCET faculty and management, including Er. Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal and Thakur Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, lauded the students, volunteers and organizers for their dedication. The event concluded with a trophy distribution ceremony and refreshments, leaving students inspired and energized.
