JAMMU, Aug 2: Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School, Akalpur Morh, Jammu organised a Leadership Programme for the academic session 2025–2026 to foster leadership qualities and responsibility among students. The event followed a democratic election process involving voting and counting, culminating in the announcement of the newly elected Students Council.
Aditya Singh and Aditi Verma were elected as Head Boy and Head Girl respectively, while Aakash Koul and Aishi Bhat were chosen as Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl. Other appointments included Rishika Bhat as Sports Secretary, Gunica Bhat as Academic Secretary, Garvita Koul as Cultural Secretary, Deveshi Pandita as Discipline Secretary and Pradhyum as School Captain. All office-bearers were honoured with badges and sashes and pledged to uphold the school motto—Loyalty, Truth and Honour.
House-wise appointments were also made. From Satyam House: Aarushi Saini, Harshit Khera, Avni Kapoor and Avantika Manhas; from Shivam House: Tamana Chib, Jatin Singh, Suhani and Amulya Sharma; from Sundram House: Shubam Lakhotra, Govin Bhat, Manasvi Bhat and Harmehar Kour; and from Vishwa House: Rishab Pandita, Kalash Koul, Mehak Mehra and Athrav Bhat.
Principal Annapurna Kaul congratulated the students and encouraged them to perform their duties sincerely. Duties were briefed by Physical Teacher Joginder Singh, and the programme was anchored by Kanwaljeet Kour. Chief guest Dr S.K. Koul and guest B.L. Saraf blessed the students with motivating words.
