Vijay Club scripts 3-2 win over Young Heroes in Senior Division Football

JAMMU, Oct 1: Vijay Club registered a convincing victory by three goals to two (3-2)
Over Young Heroes in the ongoing Super Division League Football Tournament, while Churchill Brothers got better of Engineers XI by two goals to one (2-1), here today.
In the first match Churchill Brothers prevailed over Engineers XI by (2-1) goals.  Goal scorers from Churchill Brothers were Moon Madan in 23rd minute, while another goal was scored in 55th minute. From Engineers XI, Ravinder Singh pelted the goal in 69 minute.
In another match, Vijay Club defeated Young Heroes (3-2) goals. Vijay Club scored the goals in 13th and 16th minutes, while Young Heroes netted the goal in 55th minute.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Sonu Kumar, Gagandeep Singh, Rajinder Singh, Rakesh Kumar and Mohinder Kalsi.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Param F.C. will lock horns with Young Sports at 2:30 pm, while Jammu Sports will take on     Jammu United at 3:30 pm.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Narinder Gupta, Sheikh Mehmood, Satpal Kalsi, Amardeep Singh, Satpal Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Harbans Lal and Varinder Gupta.
Narinder Gupta, Yousuf Don, Satpal Singh and Varinder Gupta are the organizers of the Tournament.
