Valley Stars, Sultan Warriors register wins in JKPL

JAMMU, Dec 30: Two thrilling matches were played in BIG Jammu Kashmir Premier League (BIG JKPL) 2025–26, organised by 92.7 BIG FM at University of Jammu Ground, where Valley Stars Ganderbal and Sultan Warriors Baramulla recorded emphatic victories.
The matches were inaugurated by chief guest, Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu, who appreciated the organisers for providing a professional platform for young cricketers. He said such leagues help channelise youth energy positively through sports, discipline and teamwork, while keeping them away from social evils.
In the first match, Valley Stars Ganderbal thrashed Power Panthers by 158 runs. Batting first, Valley Stars posted a mammoth 211 runs, with Nasir Kumar scoring a magnificent unbeaten 103. In reply, Power Panthers were bowled out for 51, with Samardeep producing a sensational spell of 6 wickets for 3 runs to earn the Man of the Match award.
In the second match, Sultan Warriors Baramulla defeated Nice Gems Cricket Club by 87 runs. Sultan Warriors scored 205/8, led by Nasir Ganie’s explosive unbeaten 48 off 15 balls. Nice Gems were bundled out for 118, with Arjun Singh claiming 4 wickets for 3 runs. Nasir Ganie was named Man of the Match. The league continues to attract large crowds and high competitive spirit.
