Vaishno Group of Colleges celebrate Technomania 2016

THAPKOUR, (HP) Apr 14: TechnoMania 2016 was organised by the students of Vaishno Group of Colleges as they celebrated their 4th Technical cum Cultural festival in the college campus.
On this occasion, different technical, arts and cultural events were held. Students from numerous institutions of North India participated in various events and enthralled the audience.
The dance performances were captivating and mesmerizing while the songs presented by students provided a melodious touch to the event. The TechnoMania attracted charged souls together and provided a platform for students to showcase their skills in Robotics, Paper Presentation, Chess, Computer Programming, Project Display, Technical Quiz, Extempore, Rangoli, Poster Making and many other activities.
On this occasion, chief guest, Dr  N N Sharma, Dean Academic, HPTU, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence.
The star of the evening was the Punjabi singer and actor Preet Harpal, who stole the show by his latest Punjabi tracks. Students danced and cheered till late evening and bid adieu to a perfect day full of creative energy and high spirits.
President, Mata Vaishno Devi Educational Society, Ranjeet Singh Pathania graced the occasion and blessed the students. Varun Gupta and Rahul Pathania (managing directors, Vaishno Group of Colleges) were happy with the great success and turnover of the festival and promised to have many more events on a regular basis in future.
Director Lt Col AK Khajuria, presented the Annual Report. The winners of various events of TechnoMania were given prizes by the management and other dignitaries. The university toppers of Vaishno Group of Colleges were also awarded on this occasion.
