UDHAMPUR, Aug 20: The annual general meeting of the District Udhampur Table Tennis Association (UTTA) was held today under the chairmanship of chief patron Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA Chenani.
The meeting was attended by president Vinod Baru, general secretary Tarun Chauhan, treasurer Prikshit Khajuria, vice president Sunny Sharma, Darshan Proach, senior player Sanjeev Singh and other members of the Association.
During the meeting, several important issues concerning the players were discussed in detail, including the preparations for the first UT Level Open Table Tennis Championship to be hosted in Udhampur. The need for upgradation and availability of modern Table Tennis equipment was also highlighted to further encourage budding players.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwant Singh Mankotia reiterated his commitment towards promoting sports and assured full support for the development of Table Tennis in Udhampur.
