JAMMU, Mar 24: Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir (CAJK) has postponed 2nd J&K UT level Cycling Championship due to inclement weather, particularly in Kashmir region.
Earlier, the championship was to be decided on March 26 and 27 at Sports Stadium of Jammu University.
The decision was taken by Managing Committee of Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure participation of players from Kashmir region who are unable to participate due to inclement weather. Moreover, it was also decided after the transport authority and traffic regulating agencies have informed regarding closure of Jammu Srinagar National Highway for 60 hours.
