JAMMU, Nov 23: Unique International Public School, Gadi-garh, Jammu, conducted a Capacity Building Workshop-cum-Training Session on Stress Management, aimed at equipping teachers with practical techniques to handle academic and personal stress. The event saw active participation from educators of the host school as well as mentors from other prominent CBSE schools, making it a highly engaging and informative session.
The workshop was led by two distinguished CBSE-appointed resource persons from Jammu Sanskrit School-Rohini Aima, Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson and Vishal Gupta, PGT Physics. Through interactive discussions and activities, they provided valuable insights into understanding stress, recognizing its triggers, and adopting strategies to maintain emotional, psychological, physical and social well-being.
The program was graced by Dr. KCS Mehta, Academic Director, IDPS, as the chief guest. His address emphasized the importance of prioritizing mental, social, and emotional health in the educational sector. The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Ramma Mattoo, Principal of the school, who highlighted the growing need for stress management among educators and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to professional development.
Chairman Jasbir Singh and Managing Director Nirlep Kour presented mementoes and bouquets to the Chief Guest and resource persons in appreciation of their contribution. The session included demonstrations, relaxation techniques, time management tips, and exercises for emotional balance and positive mindset building.
