UDHAMPUR, Dec 15: The Department of Youth Services & Sports, Udhampur conducted the fourth day of the Inter-District UT-Level Under-17 Boys Cricket Tournament across multiple venues.
The day’s proceedings were supervised by senior officers Vinakshi Koul, Joint Director; Angel Kotwal, Deputy Director (Central) and Megha Bhogia, Deputy Director (Planning). Suraj Bhan, Manager, J&K Sports Council, Udhampur, attended as chief guest, interacting with players and appreciating the professional conduct of the event.
In the day’s matches, Anantnag defeated Poonch, Kupwara overcame Samba, Budgam beat Rajouri and Bandipora triumphed over Kathua. Jammu dominated Kulgam, Ramban defeated Srinagar, Pulwama overcame Ganderbal and Udhampur defeated Reasi. Notable performers included Karanveer (Jammu, 40 runs), Prabdeep (Jammu, 4 wickets) and Sajid (Pulwama 4 wickets).
