UDHAMPUR, Mar 18: The day-long Udhampur District Judo Championship for boys and girls concluded today at the Indoor Sports Hall, Subash Stadium, Udhampur. The event was organized by the Judo Association Jammu & Kashmir under the banner of the Judo Federation of India and J&K Sports Council.
Suraj Bhan Singh, Manager Subash Stadium cum chief Judo Coach, was the chief guest and distributed medals and certificates to the winners. Manish Chatwal and Himanshu Sheikher were the guests of honour.
Gold medal winners included Vidit Rajput, Vihaan Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Navjot Singh Jamwal, Rajinder Singh, Nitesh Singh, Divansh Upaidhya, Priya Sharma, Rekha Devi, Pritima Devi, Preeti Devi, Vanshika, Anjali Devi and Shivani Rathore. Silver medals went to Ritik Singh, Rahul Kumar, Abhay Sharma, Amit Sharma, Shilpa Rajput, Lalita Devi, Sanjana Singh, Priyanka Thakur, Meenakshi Devi and Ranju Sharma. Bronze winners included Aradhana, Ravi, Shivam Kumar, Rithvik, Sunny, Anurag, Preeti Devi, Meenakshi Devi, Simran, Anuradha Sharma, Sweety, Sunita, Pawan Kour and Samriti Sharma.
