UCMAS Abacus students bring laurels for J&K

JAMMU, Aug 5: Universal Concept Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) a Malaysia based organization pioneering in Abacus based brain development program conducted 13th National UCMAS  Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition at Indoor Stadium, Multipurpose Hall, Delhi University North Campus.
Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha, Meenakshi Lekhi and the Former Education Minister, Manish Sisodia graced the occasion as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
A total of 36 Abacus students from J&K participated in this prestigious event out of which 9 students were selected in Merit List and 18 students got consolation prizes.
Each UCMAS student participated in the competition got a paper ranging between 100-200 arithmetic math problems depending on their UCMAS level and their age. They got a time of 8 minutes to finish as many problems as they could.
Universal Concept Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) is an international educational organization globally recognized as a leader in whole brain development and mental arithmetic training.
Founded by Dr Dino Wong in 1993 in Malaysia, UCMAS Education Group has trained more than one million children in UCMAS Mental Arithmetic Schools around the world. UCMAS has gained its popularity and currently operates from over 5,000+ centers in 58 countries, including India, Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Egypt, UAE, China and Australia to name a few.
In this competition 5000 UC MAS Abacus students participated from different States of India.
The merit list included Riyan Mahajan, Srijan Sharma, Tanishka Pandita, Agrim Gupta, Anshika Jain, Suvesh Pandita, Laksh Khajuria, Rudra Gupta and Anmol Dhar.
Students and their parents from Jammu got a chance to meet and interact with Founder and Worldwide head of UC MAS International, Dr Dino Wong of Kualalampur, Malaysia.
Student from Jammu along with their parents were accompanied to Delhi by Director UCMAS Abacus J&K, Rupesh Masson, Sonia Masson, Franchise head Rashmi Aggarwal and Laxmi Gupta.
