UDHAMPUR, Aug 28: The Under-19 Inter-District Divisional Level Handball Tournament concluded at Mini Stadium, here today, with Team Udhampur narrowly defeating Poonch by 12-11 in a thrilling final.
Romesh Chander Mishra, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO), praised the young athletes for their dedication and sportsmanship. He highlighted the role of sports in building discipline, unity and confidence among youth and encouraged them to excel both in sports and academics.
Zonal Physical Education Officer Jyoti Rani appreciated the efforts of organizers and coaches in promoting grassroots talent. The event featured engaging commentary by Jaswinder Singh.
