JAMMU, Dec 12: Students of The Shri Ram Universal School (TSUS), Jammu, delivered an exceptional performance at the Sports Mela 2025 held at Baba Hasal Dev Ji Stadium, Gurha Slathia, organised by GCC Gurha Slathia. The event witnessed participation from various schools and NGOs, adding vibrancy and competitive spirit to the occasion.
The Mela was graced by several dignitaries, with Surjit Singh Slathia (MLA, Samba) serving as the chief guest. Special guests included Dr Roopali Slathia, Surinder Bogal, Imp Ram Singh Slathia, Arun Prabhat, and Sudarshan Singh Slathia (DDC Member), whose presence further motivated the young athletes.
TSUS Jammu students showcased remarkable discipline and talent, securing top honours across multiple categories. Pankaj Kumar clinched the first position in the 100 Metres Race (Boys), while Aayan Sambyal secured the first position in Chess (Boys).
The Santolia Boys Team-comprising Kavya Sharma, Ankit Mathur, Arnav Attri, Tarun Sharma, Vidyut Sharma and Danish Magotra-bagged the second position. The Santolia Girls Team-Chhavi Verma, Palak Mehra, Garima Chouhan, Avani Sharma, Mahira and Manika Sharma-also achieved the second position.
In Badminton Doubles (Boys), Parth Sharma and Shiven Raina secured the second position, adding to the school’s impressive tally. The school management congratulated all winners for bringing pride to TSUS Jammu and applauded their sportsmanship and dedication.
