SRINAGAR, Sept 25: The Jammu & Kashmir Carrom Association has announced that the Union Territory will participate in the 50th Junior National Carrom Championship, organized by the All India Carrom Federation in collaboration with the State Carrom Association, Madhya Pradesh and Gwalior Zila Carrom Association. The event is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 4, 2025, at LNIPE, Gwalior.
Open selection trials will be held on October 6 at Carrom Hall, Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar. Eligible players must bring original documents for age and identity verification. Players born on or after 02.11.2007 may take part in Junior (Under-18) events and players born on or after 02.11.2004 may take part in Youth (Under-21) events. Selected players will undergo screening as per Sports Council norms, followed by a 21-day coaching camp at the same venue. For details, contact 9906767529 or 9070000093.
