JAMMU, Jan 3: The Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association has announced the conduct of selection trials for the 19th Senior Circle Style National Kabaddi Championship (Men and Women). The trials will be held from January 5 to 6 at Government Degree College, Kathua, starting at 11:00 am.
Sharing the details, Dr Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, informed that the trials are open to all eligible male and female players across the Union Territory. He clarified that there will be no restriction on age or weight for participation in the selection trials.
Dr. Gupta appealed to all affiliated districts and Kabaddi clubs of Jammu & Kashmir to depute their registered players for the trials. The selected players will represent Jammu & Kashmir in the 19th Senior Circle Style National Kabaddi Championship, scheduled to be held from January 10 to 12 at Shri Gurudwara Sahib, Bazpur, Nainital, Uttarakhand.
He further stated that all players must carry two passport-size photographs, Aadhar Card, Domicile Certificate and valid AKFI registration at the time of trials. Players who are not registered with the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) will not be eligible to participate.
