Tiny Tots school unveils J&K’s first inclusive sensory Lab

JAMMU, Aug 4: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School has launched Jammu & Kashmir’s first-ever Inclusive Sensory Lab in collaboration with SpitzeKids, marking a major milestone in inclusive education. This pioneering initiative is designed to support children with diverse learning needs by offering therapeutic and sensory-based interventions aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP).
The lab was inaugurated by Aseem Gupta, former Vice President BJP J&K and an alumnus of the school, alongside Veena Handa, Chairperson of the Tiny Tots Group. Both praised the school’s commitment to inclusive innovative learning.
Dr. Vikram Handa stated that Tiny Tots is the first institution in J&K to implement such a progressive, NEP-compliant model. Sachin Kohli, Managing Director of SpitzeKids, emphasized that the lab will enhance occupational therapy and aid better integration of special children into mainstream classrooms.
Aseem Gupta congratulated the management for this noble initiative and lauded the school’s forward-thinking approach. Veena Handa also commended the Principal and staff of the Sainik Colony branch for their continuous efforts in educational innovation. With this initiative, Tiny Tots reinforces its mission of nurturing every child with empathy, inclusion, and excellence.
