SRINAGAR, Dec 6: Heaven Land Qamarwari, Green Valley Ellahi Bagh and M.E.I School sailed into next round of the ongoing Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy Coca Cola Inter-School Football Tournament at Polo Ground here today.
In the first match, Heaven Land Qamarwari defeated Wilson School Nawa Kadal by 2:0 goals. Mehran Qadir and Amir Ahmad scored one goal each.
In the second match, Green Valley Ellahi Bagh thrashed Naqashbandh Club Jamia Masjid by a huge margin of four goals. Sajid scored three goals and Yuhan scored one goal.
In the last match of the day, M.E.I Pampore School outplayed Legends Hazratbal by four goals. Raqib Laway scored two goals, while Adil Faizan and Kamran scored one goal each.
In tomorrow fixtures, Valley PS Batmaloo will clash with Green Land Safa Kadal, Dr. AGM’s Nowgam will play against MFP Aloochi Bagh, New Convent Gogji Bagh, will face Army PS Batwara, Kashmir Harvard Naseem Bagh will take on Modern High Secondary Solina and JK Police Public School will clash with Oak Hill Padshahibagh.
