JAMMU, Feb 19: One of the most acclaimed fitness and body building brands internationally, BodyPower is making its presence for the first time in City of Temples with ‘Mr. BodyPower J and K 2018’ in collaboration with Team Jammu on 14th of March 2018.
This was informed during a press conference here today, by Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal along with Harpreet Singh Gill, Business Development head of BodyPower India.
The event will also see one of biggest names in fitness industry all across the globe. Nick Orton CEO, BodyPower who is bringing Josh Maley, Mr Universe (2017) and Sangram Chougule , Mr Universe, to Jammu.
Harpreet Singh Gill stated that BodyPower is an international fitness and wellness brand which organises one of biggest sports, fitness, wellness and nutrition exhibitions all around the globe where thousands of athletes, bodybuilder, fitness and nutrition brands participate. BodyPower has collaborated with Team Jammu in J and K to make this event a huge success.
“Team Jammu is focussed on creating a drugs free society in Jammu. It aims to showcase fitness and sports with this event in Jammu so that the youth of the whole province understand the significance of good health and fitness and stays away from drugs,” said Chairman Team Jammu Zorawar Singh.
Giving more details about the event, Harpreet Singh Gill said that the event will have two main tittles; Mr Physique and Mr J and K Bodypower 2018.
The participants of Mr Physique can register under upto 175 centimetres and over 175 centimetres categories, while the participants of Mr J and K BodyPower can register under 55 Kgs, 60Kgs, 65 Kgs ,70kgs, 75kgs, 80kgs, 85kgs, 90kgs, 95kgs, 100kgs and over 100kgs weight categories. The overall winners of both the titles shall be given cash prizes and all the participants shall be awarded with certificates. The participants can register themselves at Iron Rush Gym Kunjwani bypass, Addiction Gym and Spa Channi Himmat, MuscleZone Gym Talab Tillo and Subash Nagar, and Fitness first Gym Old city.
Zorawar Singh also announced the members of organising committee, who included Nitin Mahajan, Mohinder Manhas, Amit Dutta, Samrat Jamwal, Nishant Sharma, Raman Manhas, Anil Kumar, Naresh Sharma, Manik Digra, Dhananjay Singh Charak, Anil Dev Singh, Kulvir Singh Slathia and Daljeet Singh Azad.
