JAMMU, Sept 6: Tawi Cricket Club (TCC) thrashed Pounichak Cricket Club (PCC) in a thrilling match played here today in 1st Jammu Cricket Premier League Pink Ball Tourney.
Batting first TCC scored 126 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sachin scored highest 28 runs while Sumesh and Tayyab also contributed 17 and 12 runs, respectively to the total. For PCC, Vishal, Gagan and Raman took 1 wicket each.
In reply, PCC failed to chase the target and managed to score only 69 runs for the loss of 2 wickets and thus lost the match by 57 runs. Vishal scored 38 runs while Munib and Raman also made 14 and 11 runs, respectively. For TCC, both Sumesh and Jatin scalped 1 wicket each.
Sachin was declared as Man of the Match. The matches were officiated by Neeraj and Shakti as umpires while Shahrukh Khan acted as scorer. The tournament is being organized by Krish Sports & Events.
