U-19 3-Match Friendship Series

JAMMU, Nov 18: Scripting convincing win over Udhampur Cricket Academy (UCA) in third and final match of the series, Tawi Cricket Academy (TCA) clinched the Under-19 3-Match Friendship Series by 2-1 at Country Cricket Academy, Gharota, here today.
Earlier, put into bat, UCA scored 190 runs in 44 overs by losing all wickets. Nikhil top scored with 92 runs, while Royal Singh and Parth contributed 20 and 15 runs to the total respectively. For TCA, Augstya was the pick of the bowlers, who captured 4 important wickets, while Aarav Mahajan and Kartik Mehra shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, TCA reached the target in 36 overs by losing 6 wickets, thus won the match by 4 wickets. Vanshaj top scored with unbeaten 67 runs, while Kartik scored 50 runs and Augstya unbeaten 27 runs. Heaven took 3 wickets for UCA, while Taksh bagged 2 and Mehul claimed 1 wicket.
Aarav Mahajan, who scored a total of 201 runs and bagged 7 wickets in the series, got the twin awards of man of the series and best batsman, while Kartik Mehra, who took a total of 10 wickets, was adjudged as the best bowler. For his magnificent batting display today, Vanshaj was declared as man of the match.
The series was held under the supervision of Sunil Kumar (Coach). Chairman, Travel Agencies BC Road, Ravi Baru was chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners.
