JAMMU, Nov 30: Tawi Trekkers J&K organized a 7-kilometer trek from Katal Battal to Aitham via Bhed Devta, nestled in the scenic foothills of the Shivalik range. A total of 133 students from Oriental Academy Senior Secondary School, Jammu, participated in the trek, along with some members of the club.
The trek was led by Sonam Sidharth, General Secretary of Tawi Trekkers J&K, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all participants. The group was also accompanied by dignitaries including Vivek Chauhan, Principal of Oriental Academy; Ram Khajuria, Advisor of Tawi Trekkers; Sanjeev Sharma and Rajesh Shan, a retired Chief Accounts Officer. The event aimed to promote adventure activities, encourage a connection with nature, and emphasize the importance of physical fitness and environmental conservation.
