POONCH, Dec 24: The two-day Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan Taekwondo Championship concluded at Poonch Taekwondo Academy. The closing ceremony was graced by Sapna Kotwal, Secretary for the Development of Pahari Ethnic People, along with DySP Dar Shashikant, Tehsildar Azhar Majid, DSWO Khalil Bandey, Sunil Sharma, Maqbool Hussain and Nitin Sharma. Kotwal lauded the initiative, encouraging youth to stay away from drugs and embrace sports, while appreciating the efforts of Rajinder Singh, founder of Taekwondo in Poonch.
The championship saw enthusiastic participation across sub-junior, cadet, junior, and senior categories from Jammu and Kashmir divisions. Winners were felicitated with medals and trophies.
