JAMMU, June 30: The much-awaited High Performance Table Tennis Summer Camp 2025 commenced today with a grand opening ceremony at the Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, Jammu. The camp is being organized by J&K Table Tennis Association in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council to groom emerging talent and improve competitive standards across the Union Territory.The camp was inaugurated by Rajeev Sharma, Member, J&K Sports Council, who emphasized the role of discipline, structured training and professional coaching in achieving excellence in sports. He appreciated the initiative for creating a focused platform for young players during the off-season.Running from June 30 to July 6, the camp features top-ranked junior and sub-junior players who will undergo intensive training under renowned coach Manish Saini from Chandigarh. The program includes technical coaching, fitness routines, tactical match play and mental conditioning sessions.The opening day featured exhibition matches, introductions of the coaching staff and a motivational talk by former international medalist Ajay Sharma, who encouraged players to dream big and stay committed.
