Suraj lifts Bhaga Saldi Kesari title

KATRA, July 8: Wrestler Suraj of Amritsar in Punjab lifted “Annual Bhaga Saldi Kesari Title 2013” by defeating Wrestler Tinku of Delhi in the bout for the first ‘mali’ that lasted for 29 minutes at Government High School Bhaga in Reasi.
Vishal Dangal was organized by Bhaga Saldi Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style wrestling Association.
Winner of the main, wrestler Suraj has awarded with handsome cash prize of Rs 5,100 along with traditional “Silver Gurj & Patta” by chief guest president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma who was accompanied by president of the dangal committee Surinder Singh (Retd ZEO), Sarpanch Munshi Ram and Subash Chander while runner-up wrestler Tinku got Rs 4,150.
In all 51 bouts were played in the one day long dangal.
