Sunderbani CC outplays Sahrwar Katra by 64 runs

JAMMU, Jan 16: Sunderbani Cricket Club defeated Sahrwar Katra Cricket Club by a big margin of 64 runs to advance in the ongoing Sadbhavana Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Reasi Cricket Club at Sports Stadium, Reasi.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Sunderbani Club scored 138 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Vinod top scored with 37 runs, while Arif contributed 18 runs to the total. Rohit and Vicky chipped in with 15 runs each, while extras contributed 23 runs. For Sahrwar Club, Sanjay was the pick of the bowlers, who bagged 3 wickets, Surinder and Ranjeet claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Sahrwar Club, managed to score 74 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, thus lost the match by 64 runs. Sachin was the top scorer with 35 runs, while Sanjay, Vipin and extras contributed 18, 13 and 12 runs to the total respectively. Vikas, Micky, Shanker and Arif claimed one wicket each.
The match was officiated by Pankaj and Munna as umpires, while Madan Lal Thakur was the scorer. The tournament is being held under the supervision of  organizing committee, which apart from other members included Surinder Sharma, Vikas Baru and Nadeem Bhat.
