Summer Cricket Coaching Camp concludes

JAMMU, June 29: The three-week Summer Cricket Coaching Camp for boys and girls aged 12 to 16 concluded with a valedictory function at Parade Ground, Jammu. This sixth edition of the camp was organized by Parade Sports Association in collaboration with Laxmi Cricket Club, grooming 47 budding cricketers through rigorous training.
Ex- Ranji Trophy player Ramesh Pargal graced the occasion as the chief guest. He, along with the Guest of Honour, was warmly welcomed with bouquets by the President and Chairman of the association.
The camp was conducted under the guidance of Vijay Sabarwal and Desh Rattan Dubey, with Harsh Nayyar serving as Chief Organiser. Coaching expertise was provided by former Jammu and Kashmir Ranji Trophy skipper Sanjay Sharma and Randhir Singh Jamwal. Vikram Dogra was the coach and trainer. Organizing secretaries were Kapil Dev Mahajan and Pawan Kumar Gupta, while Vikram Singh Bhadwal and Vikrant Singh were also key organizers.
Medical checkups were conducted by senior Ayurvedic consultant Dr. Anil Kumar Mahajan, who provided personalized health advice. On International Yoga Day, yoga and meditation sessions were led by experts Sharad Chander Mangotra and Vishal Dubey.
Players submitted feedback and took an oath to refrain from drug abuse and plant trees this monsoon. Certificates, smart shirts, lowers, and hats were distributed by the Chief Guest. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vijay Sabarwal.
