JAMMU, June 1: Beating the heat, nearly 220 students had a different kind of feeling while engrossing themselves in a myriad of engaging themselves in fruitful activities in the premises of MV International on the inaugural day of the Summer Camp, here today. The day began with prayer followed by Yoga, under the guidance and supervision of Deepak, the Yoga expert from Patanjali Yogpeeth.
Col (Retd) Ajay Malhotra delivered a guest lecture wherein he gave all the necessary information and guidance to students regarding career opportunities in Armed Forces. The power-point presentation was very impressive and motivating. Students from Class IX to XII as also the faculty members attended the guest lecture.
The students of primary classes were divided into groups and simultaneously engaged in music, art & craft and sports activities.
Similarly, language (English) development and Mathematical skill development activities were carried on with different groups of middle and primary classes.
Pottery and Clay Modeling activities were other attractions of the day which galvanized the students. An expert Potter of the locality with his life long experience impressed everyone with his creativity.
The students of classes IX and X were engaged in computer training in which basic concepts of HTML for web page designing were imparted with full practical backup.
Dance practice was another activity which attracted a large number of students.
