NEW DELHI, May 25:
India bounced back from an opening match defeat to edge South Korea 2-1 in a closely contested match at the 21st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament in Ipoh, Malaysia.
The goal scorers for India were Sandeep Singh (12th minute Penalty corner) and SK Uthappa (69th minute) while Nam Hyun (66th minute) scored for Korea.
India took the lead in the 12th minute when Sandeep Singh scored a penalty corner, ironically their only penalty corner of the match.
Korea scored the equaliser in the 66th minute with the goal scored by Nam Hyun.(UNI)
