JAMMU, Feb 22: PhD Scholar in Soil Science at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu), Sugandha Khajuria has been awarded prestigious ‘Young Soil Scientist Award’ for her remarkable contributions to the field of soil science.
The award was presented at the International Agricultural Conference on Navigating Unique Trends in Agricultural Research, Innovation, Engineering, Nutrition and Technology (NUTRIENT-2025) organised by Bhai Gurdas Group of Institution (BGGI), Sangrur Punjab & Agri Meet Foundation Bharat in knowledge partnership with Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR ) New Delhi, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab, Royal Society of Agriculture India, Southern Federal University Russia, International Centre for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) Lebanon, Visva-Bharati University, West Bengal, National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI Karnal), Maharana Pratap Horticultural University (MHU) Karnal & ICAR ATARI Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
Khajuria received the award from the chief guest, Dr. S.S Ghosal (Vice Chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana).
