JAMMU, Mar 8: After a gap of three years, the Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation, in collaboration with Hockey J&K, is organizing the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Junior Men Hockey Championship 2026 from March 12 to 15 at KK Hakku Astroturf Hockey Stadium, Jammu.
As per handout issued twelve teams from across the Jammu and Kashmir UT will participate in the championship. Eligible players must be born on or after January 1, 2010, and carry their Aadhaar card or other valid proof of date of birth.
The championship, held annually since 2012, aims to promote sports among youth while honouring the sacrifices of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his companions. The foundation regularly organizes such events to create awareness among young people about the bravery and patriotism of India’s freedom fighters.
