JAMMU, Aug 17: Himakshi Vinay of class XI-D and Bhavya Vikram Bhat of XII-D shined in English debate competition and clinched the winner prize as a team, organised by GD Goenka International School, Nainital.
The ardent practice sessions bore rich fruits when both the students won the competition by surpassing 64 participants of 32 Schools from all over India in both the categories on the topic ‘The spirit of freedom is losing its lustre.’
In the individual category, Himakshi Vinay also bagged first position. The organisers had a word of praise for the excellent sportsmanship spirit of the participants and were also amazed at the debating skills and confidence of the students.
