Stephens organizes Inter-House debate competition

JAMMU, July 28: To enhance the overall development of the students through debates, elocutions and symposiums, the Stephens International Public School organized an Inter-House debate competition in senior and junior category students, here today.
The topic for senior category students was ‘Should English be the world language’ and for junior category the topic was ‘Television is the cause of crime in the society’.
In the senior category, Kunal Saini, Amrit Sudha and Veerta Bhagat were declared first, second and third respectively, while in junior category, Archit Choudhary, Ruby Raina and Vidhur Kataria bagged first three places respectively.
HL Verma, HoD English, Gurpreet Kaur, Headmistress and Rajbinder Kaur, School Coordinator were the adjudicators of the competition, while the competition was held under the supervision of School Principal Satvinder Saini and Vice Principal, Rama Jamwal.
The Principal congratulated the students on the occasion and assured them organization of more such activities in future.
